Energy transition – a word which became popular during the last decades. Originally it was introduced by politicians and supported further by various stakeholders who are engaged into energy policy and energy markets. What does the term energy transition mean?
This training will bring examples from more than 15-years’ experience in renewable energy projects and energy policy evaluation in countries of the North African and Middle East, Central Asian and West African regions. It brings insights from policy formulation and implementation, realized projects and organized stakeholders’ processes. The goal is to discuss existing potentials at the international markets and to exchange examples of best practices while facilitating planning, financing and implementation of renewable energy projects.
